I first met Loredana and her family at Canada’s Bridal Show. Loredana and her sister were both newly engaged and searching for a wedding photographer in Toronto. As I got to know Loredana, I loved her quiet confidence, kindness and her eye for style.
Loredana and Salah met while studying at U of T. They met through friends and soon became something much more. Fast track three years later to their winter wedding in Toronto. Their day started off with Loredana getting ready in her family’s home. Their church ceremony was at, St. Joseph, The Worker. Afterwards, we went to Preto Loft for some portraits with the bridal party and their family. We ended the day at the Distillery District to get their celebration started at Archeo.
Once at Archeo I was completely blown away by Loredana and Salah’s team of talented wedding vendors. Ashton Creative made a beautiful red and white flower installation over the head table and Love in Bloom Cakes make a floral and gold foil wedding cake.
Toronto Winter Wedding
Loredana and Salah’s wedding at Archeo was the first wedding of my 2020 wedding season and the last before the pandemic hit. Knowing what I do now, I feel extra grateful to have been a part of their wedding day. So much has changed since their wedding. Their wedding day was a stark contrast to current day where we are self isolating and seeing our friends and family. While I edited their wedding photos at Archeo I couldn’t help, but smile. I love how weddings bring people together. It makes me feel so happy to see people hugging, laughing and enjoying the company of loved ones.
Enjoy a look back at L & S wedding day!
