I love intimate weddings. There’s something so special about stripping away a wedding day to it’s simplest form. Jelena and Stefan wanted a simple no fuss day so an intimate wedding was perfect for them. Their wedding started with a trip to city hall where their nine nearest and dearest joined them. Jelena walked down the aisle with her Dad into Stefan’s open arms. He gave her and their bump a gentle squeeze before they began their vows. Jelena’s dad teared up as he watched his daughter say I do and whole room was silent as they committed their lives to one another. Moments after signing the marriage certificate, Stefan’s best man leaned in and whispered a hilarious joke that cut through the silence of the room. Their reaction was priceless!
After the ceremony we did a tour of downtown Toronto’s hot spots. At Osgoode Hall we took a few candid family photos followed by a stop at the Distillery District for some relaxed Bride and Groom portraits by the well known LOVE sign. In the limo, glasses of champagne and sweet wine were passed around. As the sun went down they took their party to their favourite Toronto Italian restaurant, Ovest.
It was a true joy celebrating with these two. The whole day was a fun, relaxed day where love championed. The laughter never ended and left them feeling truly thankful to meet kind heart humans like them and their family. In January, sweet baby Luka joined their clan and they’ve never been happier.
