Christina and Kevin’s Toronto winter wedding took place one week before Valentine’s Day. Their afternoon nuptials took place at the classic Toronto wedding venue, Old Mill. The hotel room was filled with an excited energy as their family took turns getting dressed up. I love when Brides have a first look with their parents. Christina and her father have such a strong bond it was touching to see their first look unfold. Afterwards, Christina and Kevin braved the cold for some fun bridal party photos outside.
At the chapel, Christina and Kevin’s church choir sat in the front row with song books in their hands. After their “I dos” Christina and Kevin turned around to see the faces of their friends singing a tradition Korean song to them. Christina got teary during this sentimental gesture. After the ceremony, guests piled in the Guildhall room for the afternoon reception. Once inside there was no shortage of entertainment! The bridal party entered into the victorian styled room dancing together. The laughter didn’t stop as guests watched as Kevin sang an off key rendition of a love song his new wife. After lunch Christina and her bridesmaids put on their matching red heart sunglasses and performed a choreographed routine to Beyonce’s crazy in love. Not one to be upstaged, Kevin and his groomsmen pulled out their best boyband moves for their performance. After their performances they played some classic wedding games like “who’s the bride/groom?” Blindfolded, Christina and Kevin had to guess who decider who they were by feeling the hands of their guests. Christina was quick to figure out which hand was her husbands while Kevin accidentally chose his Mom instead of his wife! After lunch we ended the afternoon where we began in their hotel room for with some sunset portraits.
