At the end of last year I thought about how I’d like to push myself as a photographer in the new year. I love photographing weddings in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, but I wanted to explore some other areas of interest. My big goals were to photograph: a wedding abroad, a New Years Eve wedding, a wedding in every season and more elopements in the city. Thankfully due to some amazing clients I reached all four goals.
My year started with Isha and Renan’s wedding on Tunnel Mountain, Banff, Alberta, rounded out with Ann and Jon’s wedding in Cancun, Mexico and ended with Kate and Mike’s NYE wedding at Rosewater restaurant. I also photographed a number of elopements in High Park, Ward’s Island and the Thompson Hotel. For this look back at 2017 I selected one photo from each of my weddings/engagement sessions. It was hard to pick one favourite photo from each set so I picked a photo that I felt best represented each couple.
Looking back at 2017 three words come to mind: anticipation, laughter and love. Enjoy my look back on the year and let me know what you think in comments!
